The "Association Internationale de la Savonnerie, de la Détergence et des Produits d'Entretien" (A.I.S.E. www.aise-net.org) is the official body that represents the soap, detergent and maintenance industry with European and other international organisations. Its head office is based in Brussels, Belgium and represents the national associations of 28 countries, mainly in Europe.
A.I.S.E. interacts mainly with the European institutions as well as with international organisations such as UN agencies, to provide industry's perspective on the new proposals introduced by these organisations. The overall objective of the A.I.S.E. is to promote the common interests and expertise of the industry represented by its member associations and companies. Through its member associations, the A.I.S.E. now represents around 1000 companies of various sizes.
